The working gas inside the glove box circulates in a closed loop between the box and the purification column (water and oxygen adsorber), under the control and monitoring of a PLC, via pipelines and a circulating fan. As the working gas circulates through the purification column, its moisture and oxygen content are adsorbed and then returned to the box. Over time, the water and oxygen content in the working gas inside the box gradually decreases, eventually reaching less than 1 ppm. The purification column becomes saturated after a certain period of circulation and can be regenerated for reuse.
